Our Introduction to Practice Nursing Course is an intensive three day course. This is a two-day RCN Accredited course. Please note day one is not RCN accredited.
This course is designed to help nurses make the move into practice nursing. Day one focuses on practical skills, day two childhood immunisations and day three travel health. It is suited to the nurse trying to improve their chances of getting a practice nurse job or the nurse who has just been recruited to a GP surgery and needs to fast track their training.
It is delivered across the UK by the best expert speakers combined with experienced practice nurses who have the credibility of still doing the role on a day to day basis.
All delegates will be issued with a practice nursing manual which will provide information to assist you with day to day consultations in the practice nursing role
We will recommend further reading sources – useful website resources – and will issue you with a competency/practical framework to help you when you are in practice during your mentorship phase.
